Reese grew up in Boerne, Texas. Excelling in both school and athletics, she made it to the Junior Olympics at 10 years old in swimming and at 16 years old in track, and volunteered in both her school and community as a leader. She worked hard as a student and consistently achieved scholastic awards each year. With a bevy of potential passions to pursue, she still felt most in her element when outdoors and traveling.

After completing her freshman year at Baylor University, Reese knew she could no longer ignore the deep desire to do something bigger and follow a path different from the norm. It was evident that she wanted to travel and hunt. She found the best professional hunting school in South Africa and packed her bags. She was the first American to be accepted into the program and one of only a handful of women. With only 20 students allowed into the program each year, Reese finished as one of the top students in her class, equipped with new and extensive knowledge. Upon completion of the program, Reese was offered a job with Ivan Carter, a very well respected conservationist. She has been featured in the Safari Club’s magazine in 2023 as a new and up and coming hunter.

Currently Reese is back in Africa for another seven months and will be traveling through four different countries to train under some of the top professionals in the business. She is always thrilled for the opportunity to gain experience working with the conservation and hunting industries. Reese’s goal is to carve out a unique career for herself as a spokesperson for hunting and conservation, as well as educating and inspiring others in these fields.

Reese’s story is a special one, being only 21 years old and leaving her family and everything she knows behind in order to live out her passions and contribute all she can to an industry that she believes in with her whole heart. It is important to her to advocate for conservation efforts and do all she can to keep the hunting industry alive.
