Renee Pitre is the Counseling Center Director of Post University where she manages all aspects of the counseling center for the university including overseeing the many clinicians who provide professional counseling services and wellness resources, advocating for mental health, and developing online and in-person wellness initiatives for all students. A registered drama therapist, board certified trainer, and licensed professional counselor, Pitre brings a unique perspective to the higher education therapeutic environment. She has more than 15 years of clinical experience serving young adults, teens and children in both the private therapy and communication education settings.
Pitre has a Doctorate in Philosophy from Lesley University in Cambridge, Massachusetts, a Master of Arts from Concordia University in Montreal, Quebec, Canada and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Alberta in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.
