Roshni C. Shikari represents employees and unions confronting illegal and unfair treatment in the workplace. She has experience litigating wage theft, discrimination, harassment, whistleblower, and retaliation claims in state and federal court and in administrative hearings. She has been recognized as a Rising Star in the area of employment litigation by SuperLawyers.
Before joining KCNF, Roshni practiced labor, employment, and civil rights litigation with another firm in Washington DC that represents employees. She came to DC following a federal judicial clerkship in the Northern District of Illinois, a fellowship with the ACLU’s Illinois affiliate, and experience working with a disability rights firm in St. Louis, Missouri.
She graduated cum laude from Middlebury College and magna cum laude from Washington University School of Law, where she taught an undergraduate course on gender and the law and served as a Senior Editor for the Washington University Law Review.
