Ross Sapir is the Founder and CEO of New York City’s premiere moving and storage company, Roadway Moving. He is a longtime veteran of the moving industry with over 20 years of experience. Born in Israel and living in New York since age 21, Sapir started his career as a mover and then a long distance driver/foreman. Following, he decided to open his own company, with a vision to provide the upmost quality moving services to customers, leading to the inception of Roadway Moving in 2008. In addition to being entrepreneurial, Sapir is also a keen businessman, acquiring and growing similar businesses, such as Redbin Storage and Veteran Movers.
Since, Sapir has grown the company from six trucks into a fully functional and full-service moving company with a fleet of 100+ shiny trucks, trailers, and vans and over 280 employees to assist with 8,000+ customers moves a year. Sapir’s overarching business philosophy focuses on generosity and personal connection, which has led Roadway Moving to take pride in its strong community ties and employee satisfaction rates.
Sapir cites his company’s success to his employees, and customer service. Sapir currently resides in Manhattan with his family.
