Ruchir P. Patel, M.D., is a board-certified physician, entrepreneur, and consultant with over 15 years of experience in sleep medicine and neuromodulation. He is the CEO and founder of nightly, a direct to consumer virtual sleep medicine care model focused on long-term care and outcomes without the frustrations of health insurance. He is the Chief Medical Officer and Co-founder of Atara Labs, a biotech startup developing innovative solutions for neurological and psychiatric disorders.

He is also the Founder and Medical Director of The Insomnia and Sleep Institute of Arizona, a comprehensive sleep disorders center that provides diagnosis and treatment for over 80 sleep conditions in adults and children. Additionally, he founded and leads the TMS Institute of Arizona, a specialized treatment center that uses transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) to treat mental health conditions, such as depression, OCD, and anxiety, and other indications, such as insomnia, addiction, autism spectrum disorder, and chronic fatigue. He also developed and founded a patent-pending natural sleep aid, Sip2Sleep, that has been clinically proven to be effective in improving insomnia symptoms.

Now, Dr. Patel is a Senior Medial Director at Inspire Sleep where he is excited to contribute to a future where technology and compassionate care come together to transform lives of people living with obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) on a global scale.

Dr. Patel earned his Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland, followed by a residency in Internal Medicine at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit. Dr. Patel then completed a fellowship in Sleep Disorders Medicine at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago.
