His journey with Accolade began when PlushCare, a leading virtual primary care and mental health care company, was acquired by Accolade for $450 million in 2021.

During his tenure as the leader of PlushCare, McQuaid spearheaded a transformative vision to democratize high-quality virtual primary care, successfully establishing the company as a fast-growing virtual primary care provider in the United States. Under his guidance, PlushCare also expanded its services to include online therapy and weight management support, touching the lives of millions of patients nationwide.

Before co-founding PlushCare, McQuaid led AT&T's mHealth Platform, empowering enterprises and developers to create patient-centric healthcare solutions.
