Sally Herbert is a renowned British jewellery designer and entrepreneur whose journey seamlessly blends art, advertising, and craftsmanship.
Sally's educational path began at Downe House school in Berkshire, where she studied from 1991 to 1998. Her passion for art led her to the prestigious Courtauld Institute, where she completed a BA degree in 2001. Sally's professional career took off at Giradot Advertising Agency, where she honed her skills as an account manager in the jewellery sector from 2001 to 2004. This experience would later prove invaluable in her entrepreneurial ventures.
2004 brought personal joy with the birth of her first child, Oscar. Three years later, Sally welcomed her daughter Coco and simultaneously embarked on a new professional adventure. In 2007, she co-founded the jewellery brand Philippa Herbert with her sister-in-law and best friend Philippa Fergusson. The following year saw another addition to her family with the birth of her daughter Phoebe.
Balancing motherhood and business, Sally has continuously expanded her expertise in the jewellery trade. She's pursued courses in Jewellery Rendering & Design at Central St Martin's and completed Gemology & Diamond Grading courses at Holts Academy.
Sally's career trajectory, from art history student to advertising professional and finally to jewellery entrepreneur, showcases her versatility and passion for combining artistry with business expertise. Her partnership with Philippa Fergusson has resulted in a brand that prioritises quality, ethics, and a personalised service to create meaningful jewellery designed to be passed down through generations.
