Sam oversees the development and execution of investment strategies and leads the Investment Team. He serves on the Board of Directors for the firm. His responsibilities include overall investment strategy, research of investment trends and opportunities, oversight of our multi-manager platform, risk management, and strategic planning. Sam also serves as a senior advisor to clients. Prior to joining Diversified Trust, Sam served as a senior wealth management investment executive at Wilmington Trust where he led major business units and held the positions of Chief Investment Officer and President of Wilmington Trust Investment Advisors, Director of Research, and Chief Operating Officer-Investments. While at Wilmington Trust, Sam managed a large team of investment professionals with responsibility for approximately $35 billion in client assets under management. His career started with Arthur Andersen in the mid-1980s, and he subsequently served as a lead consultant with KPMG Investment Advisors advising high net-worth investors on topics such as charitable gifts, estate planning and tax planning.
