Sampriti Bhattacharyya, PhD, is a technologist and inventor with specializations in robotics, aerospace and marine engineering. She is the co-founder and CEO of Navier, a startup building the next generation of marine vessels – namely zero emission, high-speed, electric hydrofoiling boats that are 10X more efficient than traditional gas powered boats. Navier recently launched the N30 – America’s first all-electric hydrofoiling boat and the world’s longest range electric boat, enabling a whole new kind of clean, scalable transportation for congested coastal cities and islands.
The tech buses that shuttle employees from their homes in San Francisco to offices in Silicon Valley have become a fixture of Bay Area culture. Now, startup Navier wants to offer a similar service on the water with electric boats, and its first customer will be Stripe.
