Sarah Hammond is the President of Atlas Electric and Air Conditioning, Refrigeration and Plumbing Services, Inc., a company located in Alton. Atlas Electric & Air Conditioning a family business over 36 year’s old. She is also CFO of Hummingbird Trailer Park, and Alton X-Plex a leasing center, and has other real estate and entrepreneur investments.
She serves currently on two National boards, a Texas board, and local community organizations. She was published in 100 Words / 100 Women by South Texas College. And published in the McAllen Chamber Ad and I am Latino Magazine. She was also featured in the Special Edition of the Amazons Watch Magazine as one of the top 20 global women to watch in 2016.
In December 2017 she graduated with a certificate in Scaling Business from Stanford University Graduate of School of Business. She was accepted to Leadership Texas 2020 along with many other recognitions. However, although business and community involvement is important, what brings most happiness to Sarah is her family. She is married to Coach Marty Hammond and together they have three strong daughters.
Four seniors at Nikki Rowe High School in McAllen were each awarded scholarship money as a result of completing their 2020 Census questionnaire. It was a plan put together by two local businesswomen who are focused on getting others to make a difference in their community. Thelma Tamez and Sarah Sagredo-Hammond first initiated the scholarship back in May. The deadline was just this past weekend. The businesswomen hope to improve the scholarship and make it more of a regional event in the future.
