Transformations bring excitement and the element of the unknown. As a technologist that’s been involved in multiple industries, I’ve never been shy about leading transformations – my career has been shaped by them.

As a leader with 25+ years of experience working with Fortune 500s, I have a track record of modernizing processes, building dynamic teams and deploying new technology. Innovation requires a transformational mindset. When I came to Ally, I saw the growth potential and the impact that technology could make. I wanted to be the trigger that could elevate the Tech organization into a strategic partner for the enterprise.

Reporting to the CEO and a member of the company’s Executive Committee, my role is deep and broad – product, user experience, data, digital, tech delivery, security, network and operations – an end-to-end role in a digital native organization. When generative AI hit the scene, I knew Ally had to explore it. We moved fast, with risk mitigation in mind, to create an enterprise strategy that would drive productivity, efficiency and operational value.

My professional journey has instilled in me the importance of driving value for the business. It's not merely about adopting technology for its own sake but rather about making a meaningful difference for your organization.

Before Ally, I was Honeywell Aerospace’s first CDIO with a charter to digitize the Aerospace businesses. Transformation was my calling card – I helped transform Honeywell AERO's 10,000 plus global engineering organization and the used serviceable airline parts into a blockchain-powered digital business.

I was lucky to be one of the pioneers of American Express’ digital transformation, launching several industry-first digital products. After starting my career as a software engineer with Singapore Airlines, I wanted to combine my technical acumen with a desire to lead high-performing teams. I am grateful that my colleagues and teammates have been a driving force throughout my career. Together, colleagues and I have generated 30+ patents in the manufacturing, payments, and digital technology categories.

This work has shown me that not everyone gets to reap the benefits of having tech at their fingertips. I am passionate about bridging the digital divide and driving economic mobility in the community with partners like Road to Hire, Charlotte Center City Partners, the Charlotte Talent Initiative at Queen’s University, and Witi International.

In 2023, I was honored to join the Board at Baldwin Risk Partners as the Chair of the Technology and Cyber Committee.
