You’re talking about a group of individuals who are marginalized and stigmatized by society, victimized by society. Then you add on to that health care discrimination. For years, trans people really couldn’t get these surgeries, and they weren’t covered by insurance. A lot of them had to leave the country and have risky surgeries, or pay out of pocket.
