Sharin Fisher is a Partner at Fort Ross Ventures, leading the investments in Israel, NY and Boston. Prior to joining FortRoss Ventures, she partnered with an Israeli investor based in the SV, working on sourcing deals in Israel, as well as working with portfolio companies and LPs. Sharin is a Board member and the former Managing Director of 8200 EISP, a top-ranking Israeli startup accelerator. She served as a Captain at the elite cyber-intelligence unit (8200) of the IDF, where she established the Cyber Security Program that was acquired by the Israeli government. Sharin also used the knowledge and tools she's gained, as well as her entrepreneurial skills, to create opportunities and build bridges in the field of education. As part of these efforts she founded Techlift, the first youth movement in Israel focusing on technology, which operates on behalf of the 8200 Alumni Association.
