Sharisse Kimbro joined The Allstate Foundation as the program officer for the relationship abuse pillar in July 2022. Before that, she led the Violence Prevention and Crime Victim Services Division of the Office of the Illinois Attorney General. She and her team helped crime victims throughout Illinois, with special consideration for equity. Sharisse previously worked at the Irving Harris Foundation, the Boeing Company and the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation. She earned a J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School and an M.A. and B.A. from Stanford University. She has two grown sons and lives in Oakland, California. In her free time, she likes to read and practice yoga.
