Shay Bailey holds a Bachelor's degree from Oakland University and boasts a remarkable 13-year tenure at M.A.C Cosmetics, where she sharpened her expertise across corporate operations, artistry, and sales. Leveraging her extensive industry experience, Shay launched her consultancy, Shay B. Beautiful LLC, in 2019, providing invaluable support to numerous beauty brands and entrepreneurs. In 2023, she took the initiative to create the My Beauty Kit Mobile app, merging technology and beauty in an exciting, user-friendly platform designed to enhance personal beauty journeys.

Beyond her consultancy work, Shay passionately advocates for fellow beauty professionals through her resource hub, The Beautyprint. This project aims to equip individuals with the tools and knowledge necessary to launch or elevate their careers in the beauty industry. Additionally, Shay founded "The Be Beautiful Project," an inspiring initiative focused on educating young girls about healthy beauty routines and self-care practices that promote confidence and well-being. Most recently, Shay has taken her expertise to the court by partnering with the Detroit Pistons Dance Team as their official beauty partner for the upcoming season. “I work with the team to design gameday looks and teach advanced makeup application techniques using My Beauty Kit,” she shares, a collaboration that marries sport and beauty in an exhilarating way.
