Sophia's academic journey reflects her multidisciplinary expertise, encompassing nutrition, psychology, longevity, healthspan, and functional nutrition. She earned her undergraduate degree in Psychology from Southern Methodist University before pursuing a Master of Science in Nutrition, Healthspan, and Longevity at the University of Southern California. In the summer of 2021, Sophia had the incredible opportunity to study blue zones, disease, longevity, healthspan, and aging at the University of Genoa, Italy, under the mentorship of the renowned biogerontologist and cell biologist, Dr. Valter Longo, PhD. Sophia is a candidate to become a certified Integrative Functional Medicine Practitioner through the Institute for Functional Medicine. She has completed the advanced practice trainings in Hormonal Health, Immune Health, Bioenergetics, Gut Health, Environmental Health, and Cardiometabolic Health. Additionally, she has also completed the comprehensive training program 'Applying Functional Medicine in Clinical Practice™.'
