Sophie Martin is the Senior People Partner at Sensat. Her mission in this role is to ensure that Sensat’s people and performance thrive through cultivating a positive and motivating working environment. Sophie achieved a BA in Politics from The University of Nottingham and chose a career in HR due to the potential to effectively enable and make a positive impact within an organisation. She focused on roles within the charity sector before pivoting into the tech start-up space. She is fascinated by human psychology, the factors that motivate people, and applying this awareness to enhance company culture. She joined Sensat due to the people-focused ethos where fresh initiatives are celebrated, and appreciates the opportunity to shape people practices within a dynamic, fast-scaling organisation.
