Stanton is the Director of Men's Health in the Department of Urology at Yale Medicine. In his large clinical urology practice, he focuses on providing compassionate, personalized care to men struggling with infertility, sexual problems, in addition to general urology. Stanton has been at the forefront of many groundbreaking techniques in urology, including sperm retrieval techniques, medical and surgical treatment of erectile dysfunction, treatment of peyronie’s disease, and unique treatments for low testosterone, vasectomy, and testis implants.
Testosterone is highest in the morning, so typically the blood test is done early morning. We want to figure out if it’s because the testicles aren’t producing as much as they used to or if it’s related to the brain.
