Today, Sudhir is at the helm of Everise leading and expanding the business operations, with a vision to become the world’s leading customer experience solutions and technology business. To realize his vision, Sudhir first partnered with Everstone Group to build Everise into a next-generation industry leader, then was instrumental in the acquisition of Everise by its latest partner, Brookfield Asset Management.
Backed by PE firm Everstone, Everise was an early adopter of WFH – 12 per cent of its workforce was home-based, well before the pandemic set in.
On a visit to New York in March, I saw nothing being done from a COVID point of view. Obviously, being in Singapore, we were a little ahead of the curve, because we saw what was happening across Asia. It was soon announced that two of our biggest centers – the Philippines and Guatemala – were shutting down.
