Tahmiene Momtazi is the head winemaker for Maysara Winery in McMinnville, Oregon. When she took over winemaking in 2007, she was the youngest female winemaker in America at 24 years old. She proudly carries on her family's Persian culture through her wine, and the food and traditions they share, and carries on their legacy through her own two children. Tahmiene is a lover of science, wine, biodynamic agriculture, family fellowship, and empowering other women and mothers in wine.
