Tanya believes in the importance of investing in people as a means of driving retention and productivity.

As chief people officer, Tanya is responsible for energizing and empowering our people while fostering an inclusive and diverse culture to ensure a fulfilled and differentiated employee experience. She does this by partnering with Executive Leaders, the People Team, our people, and other stakeholders to empower our people by implementing initiatives with an inclusive approach to develop the next generation of leaders.

Tanya stresses the importance of meeting an organization where it is, understanding its history and business challenges, and co-creating the future as a team. She traces her passion for people to her childhood. Her parents taught her to work hard, be humble, care for others – and have fun.

She joined West Monroe in 2023 after serving as chief people officer for M.C. Dean where she was responsible for attracting, hiring, and engaging world-class technical and business talent for a leader in cyber-physical solutions for mission critical facilities. Previously, Tanya spent two decades with IBM. She played instrumental roles in supporting the company’s transformation into a hybrid cloud and artificial intelligence industry leader, including developing several award-winning people programs that set industry standards. She earned an MBA with specialization in organizational development from the College of William and Mary.
