Teresa Saputo-Crerend is the co-founder of LaunchBreak – the ultimate networking platform for the women's athletic community. When it comes to representation in the executive suite, women only make up 3.4% of CEOs worldwide and are far from winning the fight for gender parity, except when sports are brought into the conversation. With 94% of C-suite women having sports backgrounds, LaunchBreak is on a mission to leverage sports as a powerful way to advance women in society by offering mentor meetings, resume and job interview prep, and a growing community of 1400+ members ready to support and connect. As former Division 1 tennis players, Philippa and Teresa noticed a gap in the market for women in the athletic community to connect and utilize their unique advantage in the boardroom, they created LaunchBreak to help embolden and propel athletes who play/ed women’s sports.
Teresa is also the Co-Chair of the Columbia University Alumni Association’s Mentoring & Networking Committee.
