Terran holds degrees in Political Science-Public Service and Theater and Dance from the University of California, Davis.

In March of 2024, Terran joined EARTHDAY.ORG as a Media Specialist.

Growing up in California, she explored the state's diverse landscapes. Passionate about advocacy and inclusivity, Terran is dedicated to making critical messages that promote the health and well-being of all communities more accessible through media outreach. She is also a self obsessed fashion maven and tracks industry changes as she has become an spokesperson and expert on fast fashion for EARTHDAY.ORG - working on numerous interviews, articles and events to talk about the imapct fast fashion has on pollution, energy use, and human heakth (in the form of microlastics from polyester and nylon).

1. Earth Day itself, it's history, it's 55th anniversary in 2025 and why EARTH ACTION DAY is all about. She can too discuss all aspect of fast fashion's impact on the planet in particular. From the impact on human health to how it impacts local communities. To that end Terran can speak to alternatives to fast fastion - what textiles to buy, what labels to look for, how to use thrifting and vintage to suppliment your wardrobe and add value, and why hiring high end fashion labels and clothing is even a great option!
1a. Terran is GEN Z and so happy to talk about all aspects of her own generation, as a young journalist she has a unique lens on their POV. She's not shy in sharing her opinions and is a smart, savvy, insightful speaker.
2. The 2025 Earth Day theme, Our Power, Our Planet with the goal to triple renewable energy production by 2030 - through solar, wind, geo-thermal, hydro and tidal. Her own family went solar when she was a little kid so this is in her DNA!
3. Plastic pollution and how it impacts human health, what it does to us, what organs it impacts and how we cna mitigate its impact!
4. How the beauty and fashion industry drives plastic pollution through fast fashion, over packaging, food, clothes, furniture, our water even our toiletries have been contaminated with plastics (even cosmetic facial wipes).
5. How plastics impact human health and what some of the new research is finding it is linked to, from cancers to Alzheimers to infertility, miscarriage and more
6. EDO’s reports, BABIES Vs. PLASTICS, and PETS Vs. PLASTICS helped to refocus the plastic problem, as not just a pollution issue but a human health crisis.
7. Sustainable fashion and fashion legislation as outlined in the Broken Threads & Twisted Yarns: Legislating the Reform of Fashion report
8. Earth Day’s 55th anniversary, which is marked in 2025, its history and 55-year legacy of Earth Day, from 1970 onwards, in shaping the environmental movement as well as EDO's policy wins.
9. Terran can give ideas on how Earth Day can be marked and why it is important to get involved.
7. How the fossil fuel industry, which is the same as the plastic industry, uses lobbying, greenwashing and preemptive legislation to protect plastic over use and production.
11. EARTHDAY.ORG’s work, through pur People’s Archive Drive, to track down ‘lost’ photos, stories and even cine film from that first Earth Day in 1970. Terran can unpack why we need it and why it is an important part of U.S history!
