Tim is the CEO of bracket f, a subsidiary of cybersecurity technology firm Redacted. He joined the company in 2022 after a 33-year career in the federal government, he most recently served as a Deputy Commander of the NSA and oversaw the implementation of NSA’s cyber security policy. In addition to his DoD role as NSA’s cyber policy lead, Kosiba frequently represented the NSA and U.S. Cyber Command at the White House and other government-sponsored deliberations relating to cyber activities. As knowledgeable as is his about policy, he’s an equally skilled cybersecurity practitioner. Kosiba served as a technical lead for the Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS) at NCIS HQ, and as a certified master forensic examiner with the FBI Laboratory’s Computer Analysis Response Team (CART).
