Tim Parker is Professor of Biology and Environmental Sciences at Whitman College in Walla Walla, Washington. Parker earned his Ph.D. in Biology from the University of New Mexico and also has a M.S. in Biology from Kansas State University and a B.A. in International Development from Clark University. Parker's area of greatest expertise is behavioral ecology, and he is also advocates on an international level for overcoming bias in scientific processes and data analysis.

Parker is committed to science reform and the pursuit of truth, as evidenced by his role as founder and board member for the Society for Open, Reliable, and Transparent Ecology and Evolutionary Biology (SORTEE), an international organization dedicated to improving research reliability and transparency through cultural and institutional changes.
