As R/GA’s Global Chief Strategy Officer, Tom Morton leads the company’s mission to design businesses and brands for a more human future. He is leader of R/GA’s strategy discipline, guiding the development of everything from new brands to customer experiences and communications, and executive sponsor of R/GA’s Brand Design and Consulting practice.
Tom created the R/GA Strat Pack, a collective of over 200 marketing scientists, strategists, consultants and media professionals, whose collaboration sparks insights at the intersection of these disciplines.
Tom joined R/GA in 2016 as head of strategy for its flagship New Yyork office. Prior to R/GA, Tom was a Director of brand consulting boutique Co:Collective, and Chief Strategy Officer at Havas in New York and TBWA\ in London.
Tom has worked with clients as diverse as Amazon, ESPN, Google, the Museum of Modern Art, Samsung, Sony PlayStation, Verizon, and Virgin. He has won gold Effie Awards and IPA Effectiveness Awards, and served as a judge for both. Tom is one of the creators and founding judges of the Cannes Lions for Creative Strategy. Tom has been a keynote speaker at Cannes Lions, The Next Web, the IAB, the 4As Strat Fest, and Advertising Week in New York and Toronto. Tom serves on the boards of the American Advertising Federation and Wharton Business School’s Future of Advertising Program.
