Tony Fernandes is founder and Chief AI Experience Officer (CAIxO) at HumanFocused.AI. He is also CEO of UEGroup Incorporated, a Silicon Valley User Experience firm specialized in designing experiences for emerging and disruptive technologies. UEGroup’s major AI work includes work on advanced surgical robotics, predictive maintenance software for aerospace,  and partnering with Google on gathering diverse data sets related to the human face that can feed AI processes used in consumer electronics as well as next-generation communication applications. UEGroup's product design work touches consumer, aerospace, enterprise, security, and advanced medical/healthcare applications. Additionally, Tony is an Executive in Residence and lecturer at the Daniels School of Business at Purdue University. Before UEGroup, Tony had roles at Apple, IBM, and XEROX PARC.

Tony is an avid traveller, sailer, pretend lumberjack in the Sierra Nevada, and hiker.
