Traci is an avid reader and book lover who created The Stacks in order to talk about books and the ways they shape our cultural understanding of race, gender, politics, and what it means to be alive. The Stacks is a place to gush over books and examine the systems that influence our daily life.
Traci is also the host of "One for the Books" a live literary event in LA with LAist, and writes a monthly column for Shereads.com. Traci lives in LA with her husband and identical twin sons.
“If something doesn’t evoke criticism or conversation it’s not worthy. I would much rather read a book that I hate and talk about it and dissect it than read something that was mediocre.”
