Trena Minudri is the Vice President of Learning & Development and Chief Learning Officer at Coursera. She is focused on building a framework that places Courserians on the same career development path and outcomes as general learners; ensuring that Coursera is aligned on long-term strategy, growth objectives, and mission; and finally, growing the strength of management teams.
Trena brings many years of Learning & Development experience as a consultant and leader within IBM and PwC. After completing her MS from Cornell University in Organizational Design and Communication, Trena joined PwC’s People & Organization practice and was part of the team that built the PwC Learning Practice. After IBM acquired PwC’s consulting business, Trena focused on IBM’s Leadership Development and building skills across the Sales Organization. Recently, Trena was IBM’s Global Leader of Digital Strategy, reporting to the CLO in a role where she set strategy and initiatives and continuous learning programs for IBM employees.
Trena is a lifelong learner and has earned digital credentials in Cloud, Leading for Inclusion, and Mental Health Allyship. Originally from Montana, Trena lives in the Boston area with her husband and two daughters.
