Vivek Ravisankar is a tech entrepreneur who has devoted his career to revolutionizing the way companies approach developer hiring. As co-founder and CEO of HackerRank, he is on a mission to transform the traditional hiring process to be based on skill rather than pedigree.

HackerRank got its start when Vivek and his co-founder made history as the first Indian-based founders to graduate from YCombinator. Since 2012, Vivek and his team have helped over 3,000 companies worldwide evolve their hiring processes, assessing more than 21 million developers to date.

Throughout his career, Vivek has demonstrated a passion for creating innovative solutions to complex problems. He has extensive experience working with a wide range of programming languages, including Perl, CSS/HTML and Java.

Prior to founding HackerRank, Vivek was a co-founder of Interviewstreet, another platform aimed at making developer hiring more efficient. Before that, he worked as a software development engineer at Amazon, where he was responsible for building the tool for self-publishing blogs on the Kindle store.
