Born in a small Italian village, Walter embarked on an international academic journey, studying at La Trobe and Melbourne University in Australia, and the Shaolin Temple in China. A disciple of Grand Master Shi De Yang, he was inducted as a secular warrior monk in a traditional ceremony, solidifying his deep roots in both the physical and philosophical disciplines of Shaolin. Over his career, Walter has co-founded multiple educational and wellness initiatives, authored three books, and developed several mindfulness-based training systems. His unique blend of Eastern martial arts and Western academic ideas has made him a highly respected speaker, strategist, and wellness coach across over 30 countries. Now residing in Switzerland, Walter continues to influence and innovate in the fields of mindfulness, strategy, and fitness, dedicating his life to teaching and the global promotion of Shaolin culture.
