Dr. Whittington is the Chief Care Officer at Cariloop. Her career goals include making a positive impact on our ailing healthcare system. Over the course of over 20 years as a practicing clinician, Dr. Whittington also had children to care for at home. This allowed her to see some major cracks in the United States healthcare system that she knew she wanted to fix while also experiencing firsthand the stress of caregiving with little support.
In the early days of 2020, we began helping employees and their families with more pediatric care cases, and then COVID-19 brought this incredible need to assist with finding child care options as school closures as well as daycare and babysitter availability changed daily. We realized that we had discovered an untapped need amongst employees in helping them navigate the complexities of the education system more effectively. Similar to the healthcare system, the education landscape presents its own challenges and requires a deep level of expertise in understanding it.
