Soul Bird Consulting is a training and consulting company whose mission is to engage educators, human service professionals, and families in creative and compassionate ways to learn how trauma and resilience impact our human experience and how we can uplift each other’s healing journey. In the new year we will be completing a 6 month contract with a digital marketing consultant who is setting us up for success online and with a marketing strategy. We're seeking a social media strategist and content writer to build on their work and engage our robust community.

This position would be 100% remote and would work closely with the founder/director of Soul Bird as well as the Administrative Director. We would love for you to have a passion for the mental/emotional/health field as well as a self-starter and collaborative work spirit.

```Duties```
We are seeking a talented and experienced Social Media Manager to join our team. As a Social Media Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing our social media strategy in order to increase our online presence and improve our marketing and sales efforts.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy to increase brand awareness and drive engagement
- Create, curate, and manage all published content (images, video, written) across various social media platforms
- Monitor and analyze social media trends, audience behavior, and competitor activity to identify opportunities for improvement
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns
- Engage with followers, respond to comments and messages, and foster a positive online community
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in social media management

Requirements:
- Proven work experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role
- In-depth knowledge of social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and YouTube
- Proficient in using social media management tools (e.g., Buffer, Hootsuite) to schedule posts and track performance
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (specifically Illustrator) for creating visually appealing graphics
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to create engaging content
- Basic photography skills for capturing high-quality visuals for social media posts
- Video editing skills to create compelling video content for social media platforms
- Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and strategies for driving online sales through social media channels
- Knowledge of SEO best practices to optimize content for search engines
