Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced contract Content Writer who can hit the ground running and quickly add impact to our marketing team’s lead generation and demand efforts. The Content Writer will be responsible for producing a range of high-quality content, including blog posts, website pages, emails, brochures, articles, and social media posts.

This is a part-time, remote contract position, with a minimum requirement of 10-15/hrs. per week.

Key Responsibilities

Research, write, and edit compelling content for blogs, brochures, emails, or social media platforms.
Meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Write content that resonates with multiple customer types/audiences, including K-12 public schools, career & technical education programs, early learning educators, and principals.
Stay up to date with industry trends and incorporate them into content as relevant.
Ensure all content is optimized for search engines and is in line with best practices.

Qualifications

Experienced in writing content that drives demand and creates leads.
Exceptional writing and editing skills, with proficiency in grammar and punctuation.
Ability to write across multiple channels and content types.
Ability to work effectively in a remote or self-managed environment
Understanding of SEO and how to implement it in content creation.
Strong research skills and the ability to quickly grasp complex topics.
Excellent time management and organizational abilities.
Passionate about the education space; a background in education preferred!
