About the Role
Are you an experienced writer with a combination of creativity, passion, integrity, and technical skills who is looking to become part of a dynamic marketing team? If so, our agency is growing and we have an opportunity that you should consider. As a Freelance Writer with Miranda Creative you will be responsible for creating top notch content to promote our clients' brands and help them achieve their marketing goals. You will work closely with the our digital team and brand managers to develop and execute a variety of projects including web and social content, blogs, newsletters, press releases and other written content.
We seek a colleague who is a true team player, is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, is effective at managing their time and multiple priorities, and has the desire to stay current with ever-changing trends while sharing fresh ideas and new skill sets with our talented and supportive team.
We can offer remote work and scheduling flexibility for the right candidates, but would ask for you to have availability during normal work hours to support necessary collaboration with team members and clients as needed. You will be asked to submit current writing samples and professional references as part of our application process.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in a related field, or an equivalent combination of experience and education
A minimum of 4 to 5 years of relevant writing, preferably in a marketing or advertising agency setting.
Ability to collaborate, either virtually or in person, during standard eastern time zone business hours
Proven experience as a content writer, preferably in the marketing and advertising industry.
Exceptional writing and editing skills, with a keen eye for detail and grammar.
Strong research skills to gather necessary information and generate unique and well-supported content.
Strong knowledge of SEO principles and best practices to optimize content for search engines.
Proficiency in using content management systems (CMS) and social media platforms.
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and adapt to changing priorities.
Self-motivated with strong time management and organizational skills.
A portfolio of previous work that demonstrates versatility in writing style and ability to adapt to different industries.
