FARE is looking for a thought-provoking communications professional to create breakthrough communication assets enabling FARE to further its mission to serve our community of 33 million people to generate more awareness and making the disease of food allergies a top tier health issue.
JOB SUMMARY
FARE is seeking a freelance copywriter with experience in fundraising emails for nonprofits. The ideal candidate would have experience in developing both cultivation/marketing and appeal emails, like fundraising, crowdfunding, re-engagement, renewal, monthly giving, etc. The ideal candidate will be able to take science and advocacy language, and make lay-friendly, adjusted to be in the tone and voice of the organization.
Experience in public-facing research/science and advocacy content development are a plus.
Typically 1-3+ emails/month, will be needed, with several more leading up to and during May Food Allergy Awareness Week, and heavying up late November/December for end of year fundraising.
