PR and Marketing Assistant

We are seeking a proactive and organized PR and Marketing Assistant to join our dynamic team in the fast-growing cannabis industry. The ideal candidate will assist in developing and implementing PR strategies to enhance the company's brand image and reputation in Colorado and Nevada.

Responsibilities include drafting press releases, coordinating media interviews with podcasts/speaking events/local news outlets/publications etc, monitoring press coverage, and assisting in organizing events, and social media. The PR Assistant will work closely with the PR team to ensure consistent and effective communication with the media, customers, and stakeholders. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for the cannabis industry are essential for this role.

The topics of focus for all PR outreach will be woman owned, family owned, cannabis, franchising, and business/entrepreneurship.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or related field.

- 1-2 years of PR, marketing, and/or communications experience, preferably in the cannabis industry.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Strong communication and outreach skills.

- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

- Good research skills.
