Sharlene Durfey Francois is the creator, illustrator and co-writer of the Intimacy Cards. She’s an artist and a connector. The Intimacy Cards are a heartfelt pursuit of intertwining art and a desire for profound human connection. Sharlene believes intimacy is the key to better relationships and authentic connections. She’s made it her mission to redefine intimacy. By gamifying intimacy, Sharlene gives us the tools to connect with others easier…allowing these types of connections to resonate with friends, partners and even new acquaintances.
Sharlene other artistic endeavor focus on the fungi kingdom and although the inspiration seems simple, the way Sharlene expresses her creativity is not simple. Wearable mushroom masks (made of paper), a collection of fungi inspired textile designs, fiber optic/LED immersive light installations, collages and art prints, wine bottle labels, lamps and wood sculptures are currently included in the variety of her work.
