Angela Yang is a reporter covering internet and tech culture, focusing primarily on how generative AI intersects with pop culture and the emergence of social and political movements online.

She graduated from Boston University in 2023, having completed three semesters interning with NBC News across various beats. Before joining her current team full-time, she interned for The Wall Street Journal, The Boston Globe, and WGBH. Additionally, she has freelanced for The Guardian, America's Test Kitchen, and the Poynter Institute. At BU, she was the editor-in-chief of the independent student newspaper, The Daily Free Press, where she led its Covid-19 and election coverage.
