Carolyn Steber

Carolyn is the lifestyle and wellness writer at Bustle, where she’s been on staff since 2015. Her articles span the genres of dating, friendships, health, fitness — and everything in between.

When she isn’t covering the latest TikTok trend, she can be found writing about a wellness hack, a viral workout, or the magical world of astrology and tarot.

After interning at Health magazine, Carolyn graduated from The College of New Jersey with a degree in Journalism & Professional Writing. She also studied at Muhlenberg College where she majored in English and psychology.

In her spare time, Carolyn is a fan of trekking around the city with her dog, getting her hands dirty in pottery class, and playing a nerdy round of “mind meld” with her improv team.

Wellness There’s a method to the madness. April 8, 2025 TikTok/@clitorallyy & TikTok/@abee.taree When you picture yourself journaling, you might imagine sitting down with one beautiful notebook that contains all your deepest thoughts and memories. Two minutes into writing in said journal, however, and you’re doodling in the margins, writing to-dos and bucket lists, and jotting down what you want to vent about in therapy. Just like that, the notebook turns into a multi-purpose pad that feels...
