I’m an award-winning business writer and strategy consultant who's helping to pioneer art and science of storytelling for corporate positioning, executive thought leadership, live presentations, marketing, and sales. My work draws on a diverse background of storytelling disciplies -- journalism, corporate communications, public speaking, and theater -- to help my clients create emotionally engaging experiences with their customers both online and offline. I’ve had the privilege of working with global brands such as Intel, SAP, HP, and VMware, and I’ve helped position dozens of startups for acquisition by technology leaders like Google, Cisco, British Telecom, Wipro Ltd., and others.

Beyond the private sector, I’ve led strategic communication projects for organizations like AARP, the Gates Foundation, Stanford University, Singularity University, UC Berkeley, Morehouse College, and the White House (2013). For this work, I recently was honored in a study commissioned by the Packard Foundation as one of 101 leaders in Silicon Valley—recognized as one of 101 leaders “who have made extraordinary contributions to the region and beyond.”

Since 2011, I’ve written a blog for Forbes on tech and marketing innovation. I am currently writing a primer on storytelling titled The Stories We Tell Ourselves.
