I’m Mattie Schuler, a freelance adventure journalist in Boulder, Colorado. My work includes reporting, writing, copywriting, editing, and managing. I’m also an early childhood educator — both my writing and my teaching emphasizes the importance of nature, adventure, and exploring the world around us.

My writing has been published in national and local publications, and focuses on outdoor adventure, gear, health and wellness, yoga, running, skiing and snowboarding, travel, as well as education, teaching, and parenting.
