Digital Editor at Tempus Magazine
Hello, my name is Shivani Dubey. I’m a freelance multimedia journalist and editor based in London with bylines in publications like VICE, i-D, Refinery29, The Daily Beast, Digital Spy, Affinity Magazine and The Hindu.
I cover a range of topics like lifestyle, pop culture, entertainment, social trends and occasionally, politics and current affairs. I recently graduated from UAL with a Masters degree in Arts and Lifestyle Journalism for which I earned a distinction.
I covered the Section 377 gay sex verdict in India, among other things, which featured on the front page of one of India's biggest national newspapers. I have experience in magazine journalism, having spearheaded, written, edited and even created a few of them during my academic career. I have also been a producer of two radio shows during a radio internship where I also interviewed a slew of Indian celebrities.
