
Kristin Jenny
Kristin is an AG 19&under athlete currently based in State College, Pennsylvania where she attends and races for the Pennsylvania State University. Her successes in triathlon include ranking as the number 1 female for ages 18-19 in New York (her home state), number 2 in the Northeast Region for ages 18-19, and in the top 10 women in the Northeast Collegiate Triathlon Conference. While any triathlon will suffice, Kristin's main focus is on half- and full- Ironman distance races, aiming to qualify and compete at the Ironman World Championships held in Kona, Hawaii.
Competing in her first triathlon at age 11, Kristin fell in love with the sport and has pursued it ever since. Having numerous age group wins and a podium or two, it was truly after winning her age group at her first 70.3 attempt that Kristin knew her future was in long course racing. Her strongest discipline is undoubtedly cycling. Bike of choice? Felt B16 with an ISM saddle.
Outside of triathlon, Kristin is currently pursuing her American Fitness Association of America (AFAA) Personal Trainer Certification as well as looking into become USAT Coaching certified as well. Academically, Kristin is majoring in Public Relations and Spanish and hopes to take her skills to the world of endurance sports after college.
